| Dia 6 - Quinta, 24/maio
Day 6 - Thursday, May 24th I went out for dinner with a Chinese couple I met at the plane. I've been talking to the girl on the phone almost everyday, and today they took me for a stroll. They paid everything, I was amazed. They would not let me pay even for the bus. They were very generous. They took me to a restaurant that they said was famous. I
ate goose and jellyfish, among other things. There was also a soup made of
a vegetable that looks like a miniature watermelon. I learned a few words
in Cantonese, the Chinese dialect spoken in Hong Kong. They took me to see one of the highest hills in town, where we could see the bay and the continental part of Hong Kong. It is a very beautiful view, but there were tons of tourists. On the other side of the hill, the view was not as beautiful, but it was quiet and we could hear the sounds of the night. It was the part that I enjoyed the most.
